Collegiate Women's Sevens

After a successful program launch in 2018, the Carolinas Rugby Union Women's 7s Selects are preparing for another year of play. All players interested in trying out or working with the group to improve your level of play are welcome to join in at any of the camps. 
From the camps, a squad of 12 players will be selected to travel to the Las Vegas Invitational February 28 - March 2nd, 2019.

Tryouts for Carolinas All Stars for Club and Collegiate Women's teams are coming up very soon!  These tryout camps are open to all women who are CIPPed for a team that is part of the Carolinas Geographic Rugby Union (adult women's club or women's D2 collegiate teams). You MUST be CIPPed for one of these teams to be selected.

This first round of selection camps is specifically for selection to the teams competing at the 2019 Las Vegas Invitational tournament.  
Planning for additional events for 2019 is in the works.

**You MUST attend at least 1 tryout camp to be selected, and it is highly encouraged to attend as many of the sessions as possible.**

CLUB side women: GREY t-shirt that you don't mind having a number written on the back
COLLEGIATE side women:  WHITE t-shirt that you don't mind having a number written on the back
All: cleats, shorts, socks, mouth guard, warm clothing, and any tape/braces/etc. you require

LAS VEGAS INVITATIONAL INFO
Competition days: 28 Feb-2 Mar 2019
Travel days: 26 Feb, 3 Mar (you MUST be in Las Vegas by 5pm 26 Feb; you may leave at any point after competition is complete, but lodging is only provided through the morning of 3 Mar)
Lodging: Provided at no cost to players
Flights: Players individual responsibility
Ground Transportation: Provided 26 Feb-3 Mar
Food: Players individual responsibility
