MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID
We all have had moments where we need to talk to someone. But are you prepared to be the one who others come to?Many of us have lost family, friends or teammates, and we wish we could go back and do thing differently. I personally lost one of my teammates at Morris Rugby just a few months ago. This happens too damn often.
Rikki Bower from the Charlotte Royals is a Health Educator at Atrium Health. He has graciously offered to lead a class on Mental Health First Aid for our CGRU members. Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use challenges.
